State Semi-Finals

Game 20: (14-3-3)
6 November at Spring Hill vs. Shawnee Heights (6-0)

The Moms were up early this morning getting the school entrance ready for all arrivals. Check it out!

We came into the semis with virtually the same record as Shawnee Heights out of Topeka. We were hoping that our demanding schedule would create some separation.

The match was tight for a bit, but once we connected on Kitts to Farrar corner, everyone relaxed, and a minute later we scored again. We built a 4-0 lead by halftime, and by early second half, it was 6-0.

So, everyone got to play quite a bit and a lot of our never-come-out guys got 20-30 minutes rest. So hopefully that will pay some dividends for tomorrow.

One of the things that B came up with that really got our guys going tonight I think were all of the video posts from so many Aquinas legends. Lee, Henning, Bartlett, DiCarlo, Gress . . . and on and on (15 powerful messages) left these powerful remarks that I know inspired our guys so much. They inspired me! Check out a few.

B's Men of the Match are Zayveon and Mitchell with a huge shoutout to our midfield triangle of Barret, Luke, and Drew. But we played well up and down the lineup—definitely a team-win.

We will meet Miaze tomorrow to try to complete this run we are on as we try to earn boys' soccer's 17th title and our school's 115th.
